Using A Foaming Cleanser

Using A Foaming Cleanser

Foam: Friend or Foe?

All of our grandmothers used a bar of soap to clean off the day’s muck and mascara, but today we have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to cleansing our faces: gel cleanser, oil cleanser, balm cleanser, cream cleanser and the list goes on.

While formulating Clearogen, our dermatologists wanted to create the ideal face wash for those prone to acne, and that works perfectly with the two other steps in the Clearogen treatment program. Ultimately, that research led to a liquid cleanser featuring ingredients that soothe irritation, exfoliate pores and remove oil, makeup, sweat and pollution.

Rather than using harsh sulfates to get the foaming quality, Clearogen’s pump bottle does the work. By pumping air into the cleanser, a bubbly consistency is created, which helps the formula work better while using less product. This saves our customers money!

Clearogen has been my miracle worker. I’ve had the worst acne ever the age of 16. HUGE cystic like bumps all over my face. It made me feel so ugly. After using the Clearogen my face cleared up tremendously. It has turned my life around and given me back my confidence and self-esteem.

Some foaming cleansers on the market can be excessively drying. While removing sebum (your skin’s natural oil) does help defeat acne, going too far will create an imbalance. Dry skin isn’t much better than pimples, is it? Plus, dry skin often just goes into overdrive to compensate for the dehydration, so it pumps out more sebum than ever. Then you’ve somehow got dry skin AND zits. The goal is always to keep the skin in balance.

Clearogen Foaming Cleanser sidesteps this issue by eschewing harsh ingredients that strip the skin’s natural moisture barrier, as well as adding emollient ingredients that actually moisturize. The result is a clean epidermis, that’s still soft and dewy. When combined with Clearogen Clarifying Toner and Clearogen Acne Lotion, skin tends to be balanced and blemish-free.

Those experiencing dryness may want to reduce how often they use Clearogen Clarifying Toner to every other day, and add in a dermatologist-endorsed moisturizer to their routine. But the Clearogen Foaming Cleanser is a good choice for all skin types, and especially helpful for oily or acne-prone skin.

So there’s no need to be scared of suds. One or two pumps of Clearogen Foaming Cleanser and some warm (never hot!) water will get the job done without depleting your moisture. Say goodbye to foam-phobia and hello to clearer skin!
